The design book grows out of our work in Tanzania, where we designed and built a demonstration playscape at the demonstration pre-primary school at Dar es Salaam University College of Education. Each element of the playscape fosters a different type of play and supports children’s development of the skills and competencies in the Tanzania national curriculum.
